Referral Program Terms

The fine print for our Refer a Friend program. We've kept it clear and fair.

1. Overview

The Grabbit Refer a Friend program lets existing users share Grabbit with friends. When a referred friend signs up and subscribes, both parties benefit: the friend receives a 7-day free trial of Grabbit Plus, and the referring user earns subscription credit. By participating in this program, you agree to these terms in addition to our Terms of Service.

2. Eligibility

To participate in the referral program:

  • Referring users must have a Grabbit account in good standing with an active or previously active subscription.
  • Referred friends must be new to Grabbit — they cannot have an existing account or a prior subscription.
  • You may not refer yourself or accounts you control.

3. How It Works

Each Grabbit user with an active account receives a unique referral code and link. When a friend uses your link to sign up:

  • Your friend receives a 7-day free trial of Grabbit Plus. A payment method is required at signup. If they do not cancel before the trial ends, their subscription will automatically begin at the standard rate.
  • Once your friend's paid subscription begins (after the trial period), you earn a $5.99 credit applied to your account.
  • Credit is applied automatically to your next billing cycle. You do not need to take any additional action.

4. Credit Terms

  • Each qualifying referral earns $5.99 in subscription credit.
  • You may accumulate up to $71.88 in referral credit (equivalent to 12 referrals).
  • Referral credit does not expire and persists on your account even if your subscription is cancelled.
  • Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred, sold, or redeemed for cash.
  • Only one referral credit is earned per referred user, regardless of how many times they use your link.

5. Prohibited Conduct

We built this program for genuine sharing between real people. The following are not permitted:

  • Creating fake, duplicate, or throwaway accounts to generate referral credit.
  • Using bots, scripts, or automated tools to distribute referral links or sign up accounts.
  • Posting referral links as paid advertising, spam, or in contexts that misrepresent the offer.
  • Referring users who sign up solely to generate credit with no intent to use the service.
  • Any activity that circumvents the spirit of this program or exploits it for unearned credit.

6. Enforcement & Credit Revocation

If we detect activity that violates these terms or appears fraudulent, we reserve the right to:

  • Revoke referral credits, including credits already applied to your account.
  • Disqualify specific referrals from earning credit.
  • Suspend or terminate your account in accordance with our Terms of Service.

We may take these actions at our sole discretion and without prior notice. If you believe an action was taken in error, contact us and we will review it.

7. Program Changes & Termination

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the referral program at any time.

  • Changes to credit amounts, caps, or program mechanics may be made with reasonable notice.
  • Credits earned before a program change will be honored in accordance with the terms in effect at the time they were earned.
  • If the program is discontinued, any existing credit balance on your account will remain available for use.
